Peoria Hebrew Day School

Peoria Hebrew Day School has a secular pre-school for toilet trained children 3-5 years old. We offer small classes and a very low student teacher ratio. Our loving environment gives our students a great head start to learning. Children love to learn at this age and their enthusiasm is encouraged and nurtured to get ready for Kindergarten. Parents are encouraged to call us to arrange a tour of the school and see how PHDS can benefit your child.

Preschool (toilet trained 3-5 year olds)

$20-25 a session depending on number of days per week.. M-F 9am - 11:30am

Snack is included. Children can attend as many days as they wish during the week.

There is a one time per year fee of $25 for supplies.

Transitional Kindergarten (older 4 – 5 year olds)

Designed for older 4-5 year olds that aren't quite ready for Kindergarten. This is not a substitute for Kindergarten, but an enrichment program to get your child ready for Kindergarten. Subjects such as reading readiness, phonics, beginning math and working to develop fine motor skills with art, penmanship and play time.

Tuition is $4000 per year full time M-F, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Kindergarten – 8th Grade

Small classes and skilled accredited teachers give your children the individual attention they need to excel. Our alumni have gone on to become professionals in many fields and credit their great success to the education and skills they learned at PHDS. From field trips to art, science to computers and music - each day is a new opportunity to enrich and educate our students. We accept students from the jewish community as well as students of all faiths that wish to learn in an environment that encourages each child to be their personal best.

Tuition is $4000 per child per year. There is a sliding scale available for families unable to pay full amount. Please contact the Office for more information.

Additional Annual Fees Per Student:

$175 book fee

$50 deposit in student account at the beginning of the year

Financial Aid is available… an application needs to be filled out if aid is desired: Form is available from the Office.
